My garage is waiting too but I'm thinking about having a lift made to put on the wall during the winter. Just like the ones for motorcycles except with a little more weight capacity.
If you had the height in a garage; figure out a way to back up to a wall, hook on the tail of it, and lift it so it would be hanging on the wall.
Get really fancy and make a big picture frame to go around it. You could do a whole gallery and still be able to take them out for a ride just by hitting a "down" button. How cool would that be? :becky: :cool-new: :thumb:

I've got 12' ceiling, so I think my wall rack will work and still park something else underneath. Going to have a buddy of mine do some research and see what he can fab up.

Use 2 or 3 of these http://www.harborfreight.com/3500-l...-with-automatic-load-holding-brake-61257.html
and build a platform. The hard part would be syncing them.
I'm using the same winch for building a lift platform to take things up to the attic.
I've seen them factory made, but those are like $2K or more http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200375808_200375808

Great idea Coss! One on each wheel would be ample, but I don't think my rafters would take it. I'd have to install a beam or two.
I know a guy who mounted one on the original track in the hay mow on his barn and pulls motorcycles on a platform up 3 stories.

<bow> Thank you; Harbor Freight is one of my favorite places for finding gear to use in ways it was never intended. At my last house I had a shed that had a loft and I used one of the 12v ATV units to power a lift in it (the shed didn't have 110v run to it).

Current project I'm working one is how to build a service lift for it; I was thinking about one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/high-lift-riding-lawn-mower-atv-lift-61523.html on the front and one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lb-capacity-atvmotorcycle-lift-61632.html for the rear.
I've figured that just a floor jack might not be ideal for lifting the Elio up.
This might work http://www.harborfreight.com/6000-lb-capacity-scissor-lift-91315.html, but $1,500 vs $200; on a limited budget the $200 sounds a lot better.
