My 1955 Buick Roadmaster. Huge tank, smooth ride, Plent of horse power, Dynaflow transmission, slow to start but never knew what the top end was. Was great to pile in friends and take road trip or hit the drive thru. seats folded down to make a nice bed. Down size was 4.5 mpg in the city, but impressive 22 - 25 on the highway.
Sold it for the down payment on a house, when the family farmhouse burnt down.

My favorite by far, 66 Barracuda Formula S. I special ordered it from a Plymouth dealer in Tampa Florida, waited almost three months.
To make a long story even longer, me, a buddy of mine along with help from a very famous drag racer built a wheel standing, fire breathing, 6k revving, slant six Cuda that had many a Mustang owner (and others) muttering under their breath. From the outside you could hardly tell it from bone stock unless you saw it from the back. which is where most people saw it from. It was a great blue green metallic with 2-8" wide white racing stripes running from front to back and the telltale S on the front fenders. Lost my nerve with it when one of our home made wheelie bars broke and I went for Mr. Toads wild ride before I could get it stopped. Sold it not long after that when I decided to stick with stock car racing and leave the drags to braver men. Much like another story here, the kid I sold it to lost control and destroyed it along with himself. I saw it one more time on the back of a wrecker with no front end, and burnt to a crisp. Hindsight being what it is, I should have tucked it away in a barn somewhere, doubt if there was another quite like it.

I have owned a variety of cars however my favorite fun to drive car is the very first one I ever owned, and I still have it today, my 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500. :)

Like the luggage rack on it and Ari Lea has designed an Elio with a similar rack on it. Hope some after-market provider will design one before we take delivery and offer it as an option

I have a friend here in Las Cruces who has a yellow one just like yours. It is in new condition and has been well maintained. I've tried to buy it from him several times but he just smiles and says "it's not for sale".

Just curious......where do I find out what my reservation number is?

- Matt
You only get a reservation number if you have a $1000 reservation. They generally are released every 8-9 weeks so the next release will be some time in March. If you made your reservation before the middle of January (most recent numbers release date) you might want to look in your spam folder or contact Elio Motors through their website
