A friend of mine has them. No offense intended with my comment. Just saying that the advancement in technology is exponential.

I doubt it; it might have a external port to plug an MP3 player into, but the chances of Bluetooth I would say was slim to none.
Think basic AM/FM tuner and probably 1 speaker (maybe 2 if they opt for stereo).
It's all being done to meet the $6,800 MSRP
They'll probably have an upgrade radio that does have Bluetooth.
If it does come with any type of radio, I'll probably pull it out and use the space for other types of electronics.

Elio said 2 speakers in the dashboard. Bluetooth will be an option available on Skyz.

The Continental website only mentions FM radio (same as in the AutoLinQ Mobile manual). Possibly because in many countries AM doesn’t play a big role anymore. On the bright side: with the bluetooth connectivity you could connect satellite, AM and all kinds of other receivers.

I anticipation of the Elio having a very basic radio I started looking aftermarket radio equipment now available. I was absolutely amazed. You can get an AM/FM CD stereo with android or iphone compatible USB input for hands free calling or playing recorded music from your phone with bluetooth. And the price for all this? $89.00 plus installation for those of us who don't have a Black Belt in wiring schematics.

as noted in post 5, Jerome told us in Charlotte last December that if they can add cruise control and stay at $6,800 it will be standard, if not, it will be an option ....

I asked Jerome about cruise control at the Jacksonville showing, and he said at that time it was looking like an option that would be in the appox. $300 dollar range, but they were still trying to figure out if they could include it as a standard equipment.

Thanks for posting the link Kuda. That's one gotta have I can cross off my option list, as long as it has Bluetooth. Wish it was a four speaker system, but with half the width I guess half the speakers will work fine since I will probably not drive the Elio with a passenger in the back very often.
