Curious to know if anyone actually believes they will ever get an Elio?
Looked at this car years ago and it looked promising, now I am sort of surprised that the company is still around. Other vehicles of the same type have been launched and delivered, but this company just has a few prototypes to show for many years of work and promises.
Kind of a shame, my wife and I always keep a third car - and this would have been ideal.

I don't know anyone who would bet anything of value on Elio going into production any time soon .... that said, it ain't over till its over .... many of the active folks on this forum have done so for years and still gather to exchange comments about a wide variety of things

This site has definitely evolved: anything questioning Paul and Co. was taboo, a few negative comments and you were banished (even up to a year!). One Moderator was even heavy handed if other three wheelers or certain other endeavors were even discussed. Now it’s mostly about jokes and EVs. I’ve seen a lot of interesting people, with interesting experiences and perspectives come and eventually go, many by banishment.
I feel that at some very early stage Paul might have maybe benefited from some questions and particularly criticism. It appeared, at one time very early on, that the readership and member numbers garnered some clout within Elio Motors. I regret passivity when there are so many questions regarding Paul’s and Hari’s (and Company’s) character and true business plan. Maybe when EM started stonewalling us on communication we should have turned up the heat.

I hold a little hope due to (as far as I know) they still have the factory. Website is still up and stock is still around 50 cents.
If they lose the factory, then I would say for myself hope is all lost.....
Believe, yes, I do, and always have and still do believe. Something is going to happen, what is still yet to be seen, as to when, when the time is right. I still truly believe that something will happen, as to what and when is yet to be seen, but I'm in it till the end. I was one of the lucky ones, I got to drive one for a while. And it just felt right. It will in some form happen.

I would like to think at some point Paul himself will admit defeat or success (telling us when/how to pick up our Elio's).
