about the most disappointing aspect of the EE are the color choices. Actually there isn"t a choice..well maybe, some are bland and some are ugly. If they spray paint this thing can I bring a can of my own to the factory and have them use it?
If I couldn't do that could I just have them put a quality primer coat on it?
But if I have to have it one of those cheap ass colors I guess it would be "silver"/gray...if I get a wild hair and decide to not bother with the color i might go all crazy and (boring) chit and go "Creamsicle" stupid.
An uglier pallet of color has never been offered in an automobile.

Another issue is that those of us with pre-orders will have to select our colors before the stores open. The stores may not even open until months after we receive our vehicles as I can see Elio Motors selling 6+ months of production ahead of time which gives them plenty of time to get stores up and running after production begins.
With 14000+ reservations (granted a number of those are the refundable variety) and an anticipated start-up 5day/24hr production of 500/week we done hit the half year sellout. With reservations now coming in at the rate of about 100/day and somewhere around 36 weeks until production begins that reservation number could top 39,000 which would be 1.5 years production pre sold. I am seeing a trend in reservations that is growing exponentially, and it would not surprise me at all if reservations were at 50k when production begins in Dec.

I just saw the poll results, and it surprises me that creamsicle is in the lead. I am guessing that those that chose it have not seen the P4 in person. The color choice is extremely undewhelming on the Skin of the EE. It looks inadequate. The Vehicle doesn't "pop" with that color. I think it might be because it is too small.
I voted for grey(some might call it silver if they wanted to pretend) because the EE appears more sedate and unobtrusive in grey. The form and the size will catch more than the casual observers' eyes without the garishness of a cheap International Orange attempt. A BRIGHT orange would be good, but to call something "creamsicle" that really is not even remotely close is telling. the color sucks out loud, but not loud enough..."Creamsicle" looks flat and muddy in person.
