Told you 3 time's a charm! The smart thing to do at this point is to test drive this 3rd unit for at least 100 miles before it's shipped and save themselves the headache if it turned out to be another dud.

Well, an Auto Body Shop's "ready in 1 week" has passed, i.e. a month, what's the latest ...

The very latest is they WERE going to swap out 2nd one for 3rd one (the LAST one they have). In prepping it for delivery, they ran into problems with 3rd one in their shop! They thought it may be a battery problem, so they picked up 2nd one to try batteries from that one in 3rd one. A few weeks went by in trying to get 3rd one usable, and the latest is that their tech seems to think he's figured out the 311 problem! Says there is an alarm/trip out of the motor. Something to do with coding (of controller?), which could be a design flaw in all of them. Amazing that he could have figured it out as he likely has no schematics to work with.
So hopefully he will come up with a mod to eliminate the bugaboo for good and it will finally be in good working order. So apparently the motors didn't break after all. Seems unlikely that Ayro was unaware of the problem, and maybe gave up trying to find a solution and cancelled the project instead (or it could be because they were sued by Arcimoto). My hat will be off to the tech at Prime Golf Cars in WPB if he finds a true solution!
It is almost 10 mos. and counting since 1st delivery!
I was thinking if they were sued by Arcimoto that they would stop selling it due to copyright infringement- hell they didn't even do a good job at it 'cause all 3 that they made have problems! If he is unable to fix it, maybe Prime Golf Cars can swap their own motor and controllers in your 311 at Aero's expense or just get your refund. 10+ months waiting for a fix is just unacceptable for most people.
