Still have to drive around 15 miles to take a bus.. My car now has 145,000 miles and i will not wait much longer plus I feel the Subaru will be safer and last longer.. At this rate Elio won't be around for years.. I am done waiting and I have wanted an all-wheel drive vehicle for a while.. Driving close to 50 miles in a snowstorm isn't fun in any vehicle but I feel AWD will help a lot..

Got get a scooby. Looking at that snow looks like you need it. That or a snow plow.

I really like that! I like the wheels "inboard" and out of the airstream. I think I can fab one like that.

I've toured plenty on bikes, but only carried what fit in my two cases.
Now you-all are planning to use a 5 wheel set-up to tour?!
Don't lose sight of the "&" concept,
If you can't tour with what space you have, I see no sense to invest to gain a few cubic feet of storage, -when, if you took that $ and outfitted with speciality clothing, you could easily tour two-up without the extra 2 wheels

I think a small trailer fits perfectly with the "&" concept....My Elio "&" a small trailer ...works for me.
