Our review of the P5 had definitely turned up some fit and finish issues, but It does seem to have done it's job to help define the final product. It seems somewhat trivial to bring the P5 up to the same spec that the E25 will now be given. The funding for that seems to be the biggest accomplishment of the year. I'd say that the primary purpose of the P5 was to help realize the A+ (and AVTM) funding. This thing really IS just a prototype. Notice how nicked up the dash is under the control knobs and above them, too, and how the paint missed the lower edge of that same plastic piece; I guess they painted it in place, and certainly in a hurry! And yeah, the dash just looks ugly. might want to paint the whole underside and facia of the instrument panel and housing. Like black to reduce glare. Not to mention that AWFUL instrument panel itself.
