There is a new thread on just that topic: http://www.elioowners.com/threads/bulge.6753/This is a little disappointing.
What is that bulge on the side? The exhaust or a hernia.

I see many engine components driven by the belt are located below the dash. The floor can be seen in the picture indicating no pan below the engine. This may be needed to access some of these belt driven components. I wonder if this has an under-pan on the bottom of the vehicle.

I recall them saying they would install the "popular" seat at the factory, that being leather or cloth; and swap them at the marshalling centers as needed. They have never said anything about seat color so I'm guessing they are all going to be black, which is fine for me; I want black cloth; my Magnum had leather and it was ok, but I really prefer cloth for durability.
I think I know where the IFF display is located, but I want to know where the fire control systems are on that dash.I want to mod my interior to this:
That leaves a lot of room for adding timing with premium fuel to increase power and maintain fuel economy. I love it!According to the spec sheet, it has a 12:1 compression ratio (and burns regular).
WOW.
I've only owned one car (and a van) with the fuel full on the driver's side. I consider the passenger side (well, that doesn't work for Elio) to be normal. Can't wait until I have that view of my own pumping gas (on the wrong side).

"And where is the hole for the exhaust to exit?"

I know it's not what I expected. I was anticipating a larger, chromed exhaust exit.
