There is now a you tube video of the P5 driving. The music is much more aggressive than the drive, but for an expensive one of a kind prototype, this is probably smart.

At 21 seconds, it dramatically shows how long the Elio appears. Of course, this is greatly due to its narrow width.

Can anyone who has the skill (or software) make a still photograph at this 21 seconds showing the aerial view of the Elio. I think it looks very cool and sleek.

Thank you. It looks very aerodynamic.

Sorry to be a spoiler, but this image is totally bogus. I did some measurements and it was taken so as to change the perspective, making the Elio look much longer and slimmer that it really is. Just look at a profile rendering of the P5 and make some measurements and you'll see.

And another thing.... while I'm in the mood to rant and rave and bitch and groan! After looking at the new video my first thought was "wow!", look out Steven Spielberg, Why, they must have spent at least 30 minutes making it. This is typical of whoever is in charge of the Elio Motors web site. For some reason I can't fathom this worthy is stingier that Scrooge with info, plus he doesn't know how to design a web site.... I got to looking at the customization section. First, and I don't know about you, I can hardly make out the captions under the photos. Dark grey on black does not make for an easy read. Then, when you click on a selection you get almost no info about the item. How do they expect to sell options if a person doesn't know what they're buying.... what are they doing, paying by the word? The web site should be scrapped and a new one built; this time by someone who knows what the hell he's doing.

I disagree. What would be the point, when Elio's making a video of the P5, in distorting the shape of the vehicle? There might be a little distortion from the camera lens (they do love their fisheye), but nothing intentional. Here's the P4 topview from a while back. Some quick and dirty measurements with a caliper shows a 2:1 length to width ratio on both (just got a strange look from a co-worker while measuring the screen of my laptop...gotta get back to work .)

Those that can .... Do.
Those that can't do .... Criticize.
Guess we know which group you fall into.
I'd rather see them put money into the car than a web site redesign.

First, let me say that I don't mind the Elgin dash.

Now... I happen to be in the market fot a couple of Fiat 500s for my business. They have an optional instrument cluster that is totally different (and nicer, in my opinion) than the base model.

If you choose fiat's optional dash do you get it without any additional cost as the original poster demanded of elio?
