(The standard in that case would be reflective tape). Either way, EM is aware that the full width of the wheels is NOT visible from the rear at night, and safety demands some sort of marking.I'd like to see offered as an option color-matched aero covers for the suspension bits, similar to the ones on the Aptera.

And some lights for the front and rear of the wheel covers, while we're at it.
We wouldn't. Just havin fun while they're away, hope it'll make em smile. ( and sigh in relief)Your right.
At this moment, there is no moderator online.
Does this mean we can do what we want?
Something tells me we would not get away with it.
One thing to remember on body styling parts (front spoiler, rear wing, etc.) is that they are special made and only fit the Elio. If it was a part for something like a Chevy PU where they have hundred's of thousands that have the same part that will fit, mass production lowers price.
With the TPMS pricing, the units that go in the tire are only $20 each for some, $50 each for others; but you also need the receivers, the wiring and the main "brain" unit, plus labor to put it in (break the tires down, re-balance, mount the sensors and the main unit); so a $400 may not be too far out of line.
Wrong...... <heheeh> ...... We're always here, sometimes just invisible <poof>Options.....options.....no moderator online......options............
Picture a bike tire, their valves are in the middle or the inside of the tire; plus any new car on the road since 2008 has the TPMS (TPMS=Tire Pressure Monitoring System)But, is what they show the same? Did I see the "sensor" riding on inside, center of the tread, measuring "tread" pressure, and not air pressure?
Mount the mirror in the back of the seat. Here's a thought on an option.
A sun visor type unit for the passenger which includes a lighted mirror.
I don't care, but a wife or girl friend might want one in back.
