What has become obvious to me, is that (as I have said before) ELF has his money "down" on some competing product (could it be the "elf"?), and the ELIO scares him very much. So he spends a LOT of time (time is money) attempting to kill the competition. He knows he doesn't have much time to do this, so he enlists the help of a "salesman", or some one that just wants to blow his own horn. Now, they are not to blame. They don't even know that he's using them.....or maybe they do.

I like what you did there.....and it would be a safe bet that you are calling me one of his pawns....This sounds all great in theory, but wait Sherlock! I got on this site before he did and mentioned these concerns back then. Apparently we think the same in terms of needing facts and wanting real results.

To keep it simple. I WANT THE ELIO TO SUCCEED. again....I WANT THE ELIO TO SUCCEED AND WILL BUY ONE IF IT IS MADE, GETS HIGH MPGS AND IS CHEAP......Its not the car that I'm worried about though. Its the asking average people for money, not fully disclosing information and then pushing back deadlines. That is not right in my opinion. You guys are taking the risk with very little to gain.

Not trying to sell the scorpion to the folks who take a shower after work. Think about this..i make a two person, high mileage vehicle that look way sexier than a vet, great performance and gives you 60-70 mpg. Lease it for $250 a month...! did you actually look at the Ale'? There is a great video also, that could be the new elio.

Lets address "efficiency": Analysts have been saying, for over a year now, that the labor rates in the "East" have risen so DRASTICALLY in the past few years, that there is no longer any real cost savings. When you add ever increasing shipping costs, the answer becomes clear.
Now a question: Do we "know" that EM is "manufacturing" the engine? What we do know is, EM has done the "efficient" thing by NOT designing the engine themselves. Instead, they are using a well known engine designer. That sounds like the intelligent thing to do. THANKS EM ! They have also said, the former Hummer factory will be primarily used for assembly purposes. doesn't that "imply" that the "engine" would be manufactured at a different location? Possibly by "a company who strictly builds engines?" Please correct me if I am wrong, I don't recall any other property acquisitions discussed.

Speculation...! I will risk it if If get the car that's a huge gain from 18mpg on my diesel! If I never see my elio... Well shit happens..! .better than driving a piece of shit geo!
(Let mention I have been burning rig diesel for three years free now...yes it's green, but may dry up soono_O)

I've never seen anyone so pissy towards a car. And that POS geo has the same engine and trans as the elio.
