So all these "higher ups in your billion dollar firm" see you drive your geo to work and think what a bad ass you are for owning a geo?

No. They don't like it at all.

Now if I explained it in terms of how much gas mileage I got, how little upkeep costs are and insurance, they would probably understand my reasoning.

They wouldn't think im a "badass" if I put down $1,000 down on a car that I am hoping gets produced.

You can make fun of my geo all you want.....but as of right now the geo power plant runs the Elio. Also they are currently on the road.

What has become obvious to me, is that (as I have said before) ELF has his money "down" on some competing product (could it be the "elf"?), and the ELIO scares him very much. So he spends a LOT of time (time is money) attempting to kill the competition. He knows he doesn't have much time to do this, so he enlists the help of a "salesman", or some one that just wants to blow his own horn. Now, they are not to blame. They don't even know that he's using them.....or maybe they do.

Now in reality a 3 cylinder turbo diesel would be BA in this car....but that isn't realistic.

Diesel is about 10% more expensive, so it would need to be 10% more efficient to be worth it.

Try to keep the price around $25,000 to $30,000 and sell the everybody not commuter..
The investors will be knocking on the door. A factory will magically appear out of no where!

Won't sell it to me for that price. That's about double what I made last year.

Not trying to sell the scorpion to the folks who take a shower after work. Think about this..i make a two person, high mileage vehicle that look way sexier than a vet, great performance and gives you 60-70 mpg. Lease it for $250 a month...! did you actually look at the Ale'? There is a great video also, that could be the new elio.
