Actually, the Samurai was the predecessor to the Geo Tracker. The sister to the Geo Tracker was the Suzuki "Sidekick." Prior to the Samurai, Suzuki had an even smaller 4x4 called a "Brute" or "LJ" series that was imported starting in 1971 that came with a 2 cylinder, air cooled, 359cc 2 stroke with a top speed of about 42 mph. They were available in hard or soft top. Japan has a classification for cars they call "Kei" which has size limitations, the "LJ10" fits into that classification. Inaddition to my Geo Tracker, I have a soft top LJ10 in a garage... gonna have to dig that thing out one of these days... It is an interesting and pretty capable little 4x4! Oh and mine is right hand drive!Weren't they Suzuki Samuri's and Geo Trackers?
