For those asking about the floors, there you go. It seems those braces for the seats will be it for the metal down there unless they have some steel pans to weld in.

Nice, that means they have the process for stamping out the frames, instead of using all round bars. Don't like the size of the top of the "Roll Bar" area. I would like it beefier.

Once they get to opening up the retail centers each one should have One bare frame on display so customers can see the underlying structure as well as the finished product.

Photos of the E-series build in this week's blog. Pix show three frames on jigs -- one of them has a pretty good sized divot in it (the tilted-up black-coated one).

Nice to see - sure looks cleaner and better organized than the prototype builds!

Beefier? More heft more weight.
And it looks pretty stout to me; it's how it acts as a whole, rather then just one to two areas.
And if that looks light, hope you never have to see what's in a lot of cars. They do consider the windshield a part of the structural strength of a car.

Yeah that would save floor space, but I think it would have lots more impact being full scale, made from the same material by the same process. Just divert one frame off the production line per store. I know I'd rather see a full scale frame over a model.

And scaling down to 1/24, just for a showroom visual/tactile example wouldn't be cheap. In the long run it might possibly cost more.
