Have you ever seen Ford, Chevy, Chrysler or Tesla have a live camera on the first build of anything?

Sorry for the injection of reality; we now return you to your current pipe dream ;)

How about an F-18? I used to work in the area where the wings and cockpit splice takes place, a.k.a. - Final assembly (toward the end of the video).

f-15 build time lapse - Bing video

Hmmm...Just noticed the link say F-15 build. It's not. It's an F/A-18EF getting built for Australia.

"Wouldn't it be cool if ......." Yes, it would be.
With the way they release information and photo's now, what do you really think the chance are of that happening?
Plus, do you think they want to put out a chance for everyone to see and praise or criticize what they are doing?
I can see it now; one guy cracks a panel putting it on because it was a flawed panel in the first place and it would be headline news/film at 11 within 5 minutes of it happening. (Stop snickering) but you know it's true.

I said it would be cool. I didn't say I thought they would do it....

That's why I put this part in

I know what you meant, I feel the same way; I wish they truly were more transparent and forthright with a lot of information.
I'm a sponge when it comes to details and new items; I can never get enough of the details from them.
I lost count for the numbers of emails I've sent to them just to get a "yeah, sort of, maybe or possibly"
It drives me crazy; but then I'll take the step back and think "if it was my company, what would I do?"

Exactly the same as they are doing now; that's why I have the respect for them.

Elio Motors has commented several times they would be starting the E series build later this month, presumably if it takes 4 to 6 weeks to build them we would be looking at the end of June or start of July to begin testing, this remains consistent with what EM outlined in their SEC filing for timeline last year making this one of the most consistent stretches of EM's projected timelines I can think of over the past several years. Not to jinx EM's slow and steady progress, we know that Nemak it EM's partner for casting the engine block, has anyone seen any reference for when the engines in vehicles to be tested with an engine (assuming not all vehicles technically need an engine for some of the tests) will be completed, before, after, the same time as the E series build? Presumably before? If before, would there be any testing on them before being dropped into the chassis? We've heard very little about the engine for quite some time now.
