I agree wholeheartedly. While risky, I honestly believe Paul and friends really want and intend to make the Elio. They stand to gain so much more if they do make and sell the vehicle than just a couple million from scamming. Hmmm, I could pocket a couple million from setting up a company and having some custom prototypes made or pocket BILLIONS from seeing the project through. Hmmm, what to do, what to do?
Nobody's getting arrested yet right? :D With so many well known players in this project, how could anyone even conceived that this is a scam??? Yes, the funding has been their Achilles heel from day one and I still believe it is the main reason for all the delays and it will remain so even if they get as far as actually producing the 100 pre-prod units. I'm not interested in the 100 pre-prod units, why? Because that does not include mine, that's why? :D Those 100 pre-prod units once released and in our streets could OPEN A CAN OF WORMS: problems could arise, safety concerns, etc. which of course could bring the whole project back to square one, which would mean more money to fix which they don't have, and surely more DELAYS!!! Am I being pessimistic or just being a realist? :D On a serious note, hat's off to EM for bringing together an experienced group to assemble our ELIO! Can't wait next year!

How about a virtual 360?
Though I doubt that it would show squat right now because...
According to the latest EM email, the eight "builders" are still learning about what they're going to do. :bored:

Wouldn't it be cool if Elio put a live cam streaming video of the work area where they're building the first cars?
"Wouldn't it be cool if ......." Yes, it would be.
With the way they release information and photo's now, what do you really think the chance are of that happening?
Plus, do you think they want to put out a chance for everyone to see and praise or criticize what they are doing?
I can see it now; one guy cracks a panel putting it on because it was a flawed panel in the first place and it would be headline news/film at 11 within 5 minutes of it happening. (Stop snickering) but you know it's true.
Have you ever seen Ford, Chevy, Chrysler or Tesla have a live camera on the first build of anything?

Sorry for the injection of reality; we now return you to your current pipe dream ;)
