Umm I think we've gone far enough when "...remove those drivers from the road permanently..." is mentioned.

Let's get back on the tracks the right way.

It was a joke..there a no way such would be allowed and cost would exceed cost of the ELIO substantially.

Point is there are certain people that shouldn't be allowed on the road and the ELIO is substantially smaller and weighs 1/2 to 1/50 of other vehicles on the road, so getting rear-ended is a serious event.

How about rear air bag is deployed and driver that was on phone OR texting that rear ends you has there drivers license permanently revoked and/or they get a minimum of 1yr to 20yrs if someone is injured or killed in the event?

One things that slips by most is that we have robots (web crawlers) connected to this site constantly; and they pick up key words.
Having comments; like the one posted; can be a trigger for a Elio hater site. The odds are high, but why have them at all if they avoided?
Just a little preventative step to take any chance of that happening.

It may be a little to soon to ask about little details on standard equipment and options but I still have a few questions. (some may be better addressed to Elio directly)i

Wiper(s), from pics and CAD drawings it appears that there will only be a single wiper. While this is not a problem as several makes use this format (as long as the coverage is ok) I wonder if it will be a two speed with variable intermittent speeds? Also a washer fluid spray?
Odometer - will it have a trip odometer that can be reset and more than one, like an A/B.

DC Power Outlets - how many

Cup/Bottle holders - front and back

Locking Console - since no Glove Box, need a place to store owners manual (presume there will be one), registration/insurance papers, and any other valuables, DC cords, CD's, sunglasses

Door Pockets - for maps, etc

Seat back storage - net or pocket on the front seat back for the rear passenger.

Sound System Speaker location - where will the standard system speakers be located and what are options for additional speakers? I would assume that because of the smaller size of the cockpit, not a lot would be needed.

Sun Visor(s) - Adjustable to both left and right front windows. I think I saw where an optional lighted mirror on the visor was an option.

How much can this small car pull..can it tow a small camper?

No. But it depends on how you define a small camper and if you want to void your warranty. A trailer hitch is not recommended by Elio.

I am interested in buying a ELIO or possibly several hence my interest.

Backup camera should be standard due to the bind spot that exists in the ELIO design.

So far as any Web crawlers picking up on certain keywords... If I was running ELIO, I'd be scouring the net for any info that could be used to improve my design so any problem area's could be addressed BEFORE the ELIO goes into production.

Q: Does ELIO do such, or are they living in a bubble at ELIO MOTORS?

Additionally as alot of people think EM is running a scam as not a single production vehicle has be made, where are the 24hr/7 day live VIDEO FEEDS of ELIO MOTORS INC?

With the engineering vehicles being rolled out now being able to watch what is going on at Elko Motors would go a long ways towards shutting those up that are bad mouthing ELIO, would it not?

Additionally LIVE 24hr/7 day feeds would I'm sure calm those that have reservations, would it not?

Did I miss the link to the live feeds? Such can be done at very low cost these days.
