YES! I had to have my drivers side one replaced because that was the window that a genius need to break to obtain access to my "smoking" supplies. Bummer for sure...

Along with some of the standard options I will enjoy, I would like some help/clarification on the Elgin dash. I am not familiar with it or could find a lot about it. I drive an old 93 dodge, not to fancy. The way I like it. One fancy request for me in the after market would be a dash monitor for front and rear camera and a navigation device for my travels. Any help reccomendations would be appreciated

If you have a cell phone/smartphone, it should have a map function or the option to download a free map function. This would be just as effective as a navigation system installed on the Elio. Elio's proposed nav system is going to be over $2000. I use my cell in my truck and it works just fine.

don't know all the special effects gets ya, seemed to include everything excluding a periscope. The 2k seemed to represent all the options - except for the small hotdog grill! You'll be able to select the level of options. With a unit base at 6.8k, it seems to me counter-intuitive to spend the 2k, hey boys with toys!! enjoy!!

The hot dog grill is available, but it would take up the back seat. Instead, you'll get one of those spikes you use to skewer the hot dog lengthwise, and your hot dog will cook from the inside out.

No. That wouldn't work with the way the GM paintbooths work though they did send the doors and trunks along separately from the rest of the body...

But it's panel-on-frame construction--aren't the panels painted before they are bolted onto the frame? They've stated they are going for a "replace, not repair" philosophy for body damage, so replacement panels will certainly be a thing. I suppose it'd be an extra layer of logistics though.
