The "gas cap" on a Tomcat is located on the correct side. :D

Photo brings back memories. When I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall, England I flew on the CINCEUR's Airborne Command Post (EC-135). Every cycle we had to conduct aerial refueling. Great photo.

which side of the back seat dose the shoulder harness mount to the wall .... left like a typical driver's seat or right like a typical passenger's seat
Jim

Currently left, like a typical driver's seat. I'd love to see that changed though. Easier access the the back seat.

during a conversation earlier today with Jerome Vassallo, VP of Sales at the Elio exhibit on 12-6-14 in Charlotte, NC I was told that the driver's shoulder harness/seat belt will be attached on the right (passenger's side of a standard American vehicle) .... the rear will be attached to the back of the seat

Okay, just taking a guess here. Are you talking about Kirkland AFB? Strangest AFB I've ever been to. The civilian airport and the AFB used the same runway. Went on a detachment there back in '83.
I was at Barksdale fab with b-52s... now at Kirtland but no b-52s. You are right about it being odd sharing a runway though.
