Sorry, I was an 'accessory to the crime' in getting this life changing thread off topic. Since there's no convincing Paul to put the gas cap on the "left [right some would profess] side", I hope they don't add insult to injury by putting left-handed threads on the cap. That would be pure evil, and result in numerous stokes and aneurisms amongst our members.
