When my Elio arrives I will purchase an enclosed trailer to tow behind my motorhome as my Elio garage when traveling. It's good to have a plan. Everyone hang in there and have faith that the process is moving forward.

we travel the country 6 or so months a year towing our 5er .... I wish being able to double tow was possible for us .... I suspect that it won't be long after they are rolling out of the plant that seeing them in campgrounds will become pretty common

my second career was working in RV sales and we've looked at them many times over the years .... we've seen several that I'd be happy with but she who makes such determinations hasn't found one that has a floorplan she likes .... right now, my best bet is (unless something should render it unserviceable) we will keep what we have

The Elio is going to happen and all good things are worth the wait. I've decided to get a new toy in order to make waiting for my Elio a little easier. I plan on traveling for three months this year and will purchase a 2015 Honda PCX150 scooter to ride on a rack behind my motorhome. This will allow me to have in and around transportation when parked at a camp ground. I currently have a Burgman 400 scooter but the weight of that one is too heavy for my hitch. I save over 200 pound going with the smaller scooter. When my Elio arrives I will purchase an enclosed trailer to tow behind my motorhome as my Elio garage when traveling. It's good to have a plan. Hey Jayne if you get out this far West, give us a holler. We can get a few locals together, have a drink and talk about Elio options. ;)

I don't see much mention of the fact that a person could reserve an Elio with a $100 deposit. It is simply a matter of pushing the right buttons. It was a personal choice on the part of every reservation holder as to the amount each would "gamble" on the Elio venture. And, when the cars start coming down the line, 41,000 won't really take that long to build, and before you know it, we'll ALL be driving one!
Believe me, my life's experience with buying new models has been a very mixed bag, from true lemon to absolute jewel, so I would personally very happy to take the 40,000th rather than the first.
We should think about having our own Elio convention and invite PE to come see us.......
