Nothing particular against yellow, it just wasn't selected to be one of the seven launch colors. Probably because it didn't poll as well or something. But now whinging about the lack of yellow has become a sort of inside joke, like whining about which side the gas cap is on or making a fuss over the exhaust bump.

But the Elgin dash is not in that list of "okay to joke about". The Elgin dash is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

I must have missed something. Why does the word yellow seemed to be banned? It would make a great Elio color - make it very visible. Did Paul Elio's dad hate that color?

It's only me, I kept pushing for y____w, and gave up- However, when I spoke to Jerome, he "suggested" that a review of the least liked color MIGHT be replaced with yell...........o

Actually, it has been mention (probably over 6 months ago) that Yellow might be used for short production runs, alternating with the least requested color.

They have said that the ones that are going to be crash tested probably won't be painted at all, and would just have something "representative" of a motor in weight and size in the front.
