Looks like they got it at Home Depot. I thought seats from Lear would be much better than that.

You probably knew Elio was featured on "Heny Ford's Innovation Nation" but did you know he was also on another episode of he show?

Yup, Season 1, episode 25... very near the end hey talk to innovators in a segment to inspire others to try. Hey show he Elio in it's many versions, some driving, and Paul talking about being innovative.

I have he show set to record the series and today, I'm catching up.

Noticed that is the manual transmission installed. Aisin BC5. Glad to see it has clutch fork instead of a coaxial hydraulic cylinder. The pedal box appears to have a mount for a clutch master cylinder. An external slave cylinder on the transmission and we're good to go. The engine seems to be bristling with sensors just like engine in the dyno film. I like progress.

You and I both reported the transmission part number. Now, Elio owners, go check out a Toyota Yaris and see if you like hat AMT... on the AISIN web page, the BC5 is in the Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage and the MC5 is in the Toyota Yaris.

Further research indicates the BC5 is he standard and the MC5 is he Automated Manual...
