I'm definitely going to be adding some kind of lighting to my fenders, running lights and turns. I'll even make a tutorial! Though I'm sure plenty of people will do it before me, lol

I already have several different styles of red running/brake and amber super-bright micro LEDs ready for launch day.

Must be because I'm still running Vista on the main home computer because I've tried all the browsers...
But the configurator won't work for me. It displays, "3-D not available".
I'll have to try my Win 7 and Win 10 laptops.

I'll be running the wires to the outriggers through flexible stainless lines.

I own a cell phone, BUT, it is a phone, not a computer. It is compatible for calling and receiving phone calls, period. It does not do text or voice mail.
It is only turned on when I'm away from home and not in the airplane. It is used for business calls and to communicate with the spousal unit!

does lint ever get in the rotating dialer? -)

So far: you can't "un-order" a wrap.
Color changes are cumulative and interact -- the licorice color looks distinctly green on my accurately calibrated monitor. Body colors really look "off".
Details are scanty
No non-skyzmatic rear view camera -- this has been promised for two years, and is a deal breaker for me.
Automatic is priced at $1,050. Too much, but just barely acceptable to me.

Love the interior color options (variety of them and the display). It would be nice if color were accurate.

Here's what I emailed them:

ESSENTIAL

Rear view camera (full time, not just reversing). NOT SKYZMATIC. A standalone camera option has been promised all along. So please add it. This is a deal breaker for me.

Pouch-style or net storage in visor (or mount the rear view camera there)
Additonal storage built in or mounted on door. Doesn’t have to be big, but has to hold misc. odds and ends.

The Skyzmatic site shows the 360 degree camera on top of a vehicle. I wonder if that's where it'll go on the Elio and what effect it'll have on aerodynamics, aesthetics, etc.

I think this WILL be an option, but you will still have to pay the "delivery fee". It's a gubbermint thing.

I have a hard time believing that if you HAVE to pick up the car because state law prevents Elio from having manufacturer-owned outlets, that you should THEN have to pay a delivery charge. Absolutely makes no sense. Or maybe they could charge the delivery charge and offer further discounts to offset it.

If it made sense, it wouldn't be a GOVERNMENT thing.

I was told that the base radio would have a USB outlet in it. Is that different from the "enhanced stereo with usb and connectivity"?

Ah, thank you for that. I still think its somewhat pricey for a system that basically just forwards information to an app. There are other devices that can do that for a fraction of the price.

Granted, this may be a little more sophisticated but I am not really understanding the whole concept of me clamping my own tablet into the car is supposed to work. Wouldn't an actual touch screen system have been a better option? They go for about the same price.

Question: where IS the radio in the Elio?

Skyzmatic includes the iPad.

Obviously, the antenna is embedded in the rear window!
