Elio Addict
Looks like I'm getting my Elio cheap! Only thing I want that's listed is the tire pressure indicator and automatic tranny. I'll take care of the rest of the goodies myself.

I thought the side exhaust doubled as the antenna?
Because it's not an option? That reminds me. I didn't see a matching left-side bulge mentioned in the 'external accessories'.
I just want other drivers to see how wide the vehicle is at night. I don't want to be sideswiped by some jerk who cuts it too close, having thought I was as skinny as a motorcycle (which is what it looks like from the rear at night). Hence the marker lights. Reflective tape will be standard, but that's a little cheesy for me.
I discussed this problem with Jerome back in January. AT that time he said reflective tape would be standard. I suggested a strip of LEDs and the sticking point (which I'm pretty sure isn't that hard to accomplish) is how to route the power so that it can deal with jouncing around and still be easily disconnected when you have to service brakes or suspension or even change a tire.I plan on getting some kind of reflective tape to put on the front wheel fenders.... thinking red on the rear, yellow on the front... If elio comes up with a similar option, i am very likely to take it.
Same here. I think the difficulty will be getting a wiring harness out to the wheel covers. If they fix that having running lights, turn signals of whatever type you or I would want should be easy. I'd prefer turn signals on the front and rear of the cover, running light on the outside.I plan on getting some kind of reflective tape to put on the front wheel fenders.... thinking red on the rear, yellow on the front... Could also include wiring for cameras if the owner wants to add that option. I can see formula one style on car camera views. That'd be very cool.Nope. Not difficult at all.
Again, flexible stainless steel tubing (think large dia. stainless brake fluid hose).
It'll protect the wiring and it looks great. An inexpensive trailer connection will do.
