Why would investors put their money in something when the core supporters have mostly bailed and are talking like it won't happen?
I get what your saying, but I'm not interested in being a band member who plays on as the Titanic sinks around me. If there's a spot for me in the life boat, I'm in it. There is a point at which all the happy thoughts aren't going to matter, and unfortunately I think we passed that months ago. We had the optimism, we had the pre-orders, we had the mostly positive press. If it was going to happen, I think it would have happened by now. It's been YEARS now! I REALLY hope Paul gets some kind of last minute hail Mary play, but I don't think even he would fault us for taking care of ourselves at this point, especially in hindsight of the support we have given so far. Investors had their shot, they blew it, and now we all suffer for it.
If you want to wear that smile as the icy water crawls up your chest and you scramble for a piece of driftwood, you be my guest. Not me.
