I guess I don't get what you're asking me to do exactly? I *am* hopeful Paul finds a way. I am tethered to this adventure by a $1000 all-in reservation. You seem the think the ship is not sinking and you want to silence anyone who says otherwise, despite all the evidence that supports this view. That's not how America works. I'm asking you to stop saying the ship is going to sink and help EM avoid the darn iceberg. It hasn't even hit yet. The crew at the helm of EM are hard at work trying to correct course and you're already jumping ship and making a scene instead of helping.

Aha. So we differ on where we see the iceberg. I say it's scraping down the side of the ship, you see it looming on the horizon. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that. I am ON this ship, so I'm not torpedoing anything. I'm trying to get people safely off before the boilers explode. You seem to think that's premature. Ok, we'll see. The autocycle legislation is the silver lining on this cloud. If nothing else comes of Elio, at least they opened the door for the next guy. This is one thing that we can all agree on. HB 2381 deserves our support no matter what happens to Elio Motors.

Thanks. Slinches and I are just having a healthy disagreement. I respect his view and understand it completely, as it was my view up until recently. His camel has a very sturdy back, while my camel has been at the chiropractor for months.

Just by looking at the current poll results I can tell this forum isn't ready to go all "Jonestown" just yet.

I'm wearing my Elio shirt to a major rally Tuesday. I am going to wear my short sleeves for my three hour wait in line, then switch to my bright yellow (apple green) long sleeves, once I get inside. Can't say what the rally is for but it will be televised nation wide, probly world wide. I am going with a dear friend, John. He is a tall slender man with dark hair & glasses. Watch for us.
