Many years ago, a good friend showed up at my door. His wife had "kicked him out" (after a stupid argument), he didn't know what to do.
I did!!
I opened a fresh new bottle of tequila and we drank until we passed out. The next day his wife called my house looking for him and wanted him to come home. Except for a wicked hangover, it was a Happy Ending!!

Speaking of comedy movies, I watched "Super Who?" on the plane coming back home, a French movie, a parody of Batman and other superheroes, it is hilarious, not to be missed, and I'm mentioning it here because you're not likely to see it come up on your normal movie lists because of it being French ...
