He's exactly 400 behind me, guess I should be madder since I've been waiting longer..Oh, wait, I read somewhere there's no guarantee of a release date.

I read that too, and the no guarantee is why I only put down a $100 refundable. I wasn't surprised EM couldn't meet the anticipated production schedule, but am still disappointed EM is unable to follow through on the 2015 delivery schedule. My expectation is it will happen if it happens.

I'm thinking he's got a wife/girlfriend/dad (moms usually just shake their heads and tsk) who is getting on his case about having WASTED a grand on something that won't be available for YEARS. IF THEN! blah blah blah ...

(No, no, no ... not WASTED, INVESTED! It's only $1,000 that has the possibility of employing lots of 'Mericans [It's not A 'Merica, it's THE 'Merica!] And you don't invest something knowing that you'll get your money back. Even if you keep it in a bank and get some interest, the bank may go belly up and you'll get your money back AFTER all the big fish get theirs, in, what? 4 years? 5 years?)

It's one thing to be frustrated with the delays, it's another to declare the "whole venture is a scam", I guess that's what made me fire back so hard, and unless you're 10 years old you should have read the whole agreement and understood what it said. If one reads the second part of the agreement then jumps up and down about (really) anything, you didn't get it. It's like people loosing at a casino and then suing for their money back. ( unless you were really drunk ) You are just being a bit spoiled. I don't hit myself with a hammer then claim to be a victim and sue Craftsman.
I guess I've read too many crybaby posts on Facebook that have made me a bit jaded.
