I Have Given Up On Elio, Have You?

I haven't given up. I've only been here a few years (4) but I'm in it to win it! I just wished I could use the facilities at Shreveport and get permission to use Paul's plans. I'd take a crew there and build my own darn Elio!

My activities have been down graded to "observer", but I would sure like to be there to watch.

Out of curiosity I looked at the Elio website and at the top right there is a customer log-in. It's been a while since I logged in but it would not accept my password. So maybe I was using the wrong one? So I clicked on the "Forgot Password" to reset but they never sent me a response. Perhaps its a program error of some kind. Anybody else want to try their login?

Me too. My password does not work and the "Forgot Your Password?" link goes to a page to input my password but then ends up timing out. And no email with password reset link. Bummer.

I just sent EM an email for support.

I didn't try to send Elio a message for the simple reasons that they won't put out anything new, Paul is silent, no SEC current documents, etc. I really didn't think my account/password was going to be looked at as they have no time or money for such things. Besides, I really doubt that my account would show anything new or updated. I just tried it to see if it was working.

I've enjoyed this group and the optimistic discussions over the years . I guess that will continue . But believing that there is any chance of Elio achieving their initial goals is simply unrealistic . Please don't throw any more money at places in line, Elio stock or crypto currency.
There may be a 3 wheel , affordable vehicle someday but it will likely be Chinese and most certainly electric . I would not be interested in that .

Coming up on 6 years ago when I ordered this 3 wheel cycle-car, I've been keeping a positive head so far. I used our savings to pay for the spot in line, thinking about how much this sounds like a great idea, I was lead to believe. I wanted to be one of those people who have gotten a cycle car with a low number, so I chose to go ALL-IN and put out $1,000.00 dollars down. I now wish I could have used the money for a investment,
because I today would have made enough to pay off the ELIOCYCLECAR.

Have I "given up"? I went "all in" nonrefundable so giving up wouldn't really change things at all. Either way it was a wager that I lost. Do I think it will ever reach production? When flying monkeys emerge from my posterior. For even the most optimistic believing otherwise would set the bar for being a Pollyanna to a record high. I needed this car 7 years ago.

Sorry David but I don't think we have been conned by Elio. If it were a real con, then they would be encouraging more reservations and showing the vehicle more. Perhaps the persons most effected would be the other company directors who have put up millions as investment. (Including their reputations.)
