#1) It's 2019, so you've been here 5 years. #2) Getting the plans from Paul, good luck with that. #3) If he was going to sell kit cars, I'm sure he would have done it by now, but not to rain on your parade, ask him. As a matter of fact ask if he has considered selling plans or even kit cars. Then tell us what he says, I have never asked, but it's worth a shot, take it. Then tell us what he says. One glimmer of hope? Patrick Byrne just sold all his Overstock shares. Most of the money was sent to Switzerland but some he said he was investing in some other businesses. Perhaps Elio Motors? See his blog explaining it all here:

Sounds like you're capable of building one offs and money's not an issue then you don't really need the ELIO plans. You can make a "similar" one without getting sued for trademark violation. Get a donor 3 cy. engine and let us know if your creation can achieve ELIO's HOLY GRAIL 84 mpg!
