Shopper man strikes again. Early this morning I bought a new Peltor Sport RangeGuard electronic earpro for $33.38 + tax w' free shipping.
Sometime around 9:20am I also bought 5,000 rounds of new Armscor 36gr jacketed hollow point .22LR for... $75 + tax.
That's just over 1 and a half cents per round. That's my new record. Never pay full price for anything.

hopefully, Burris and Leupold keep making theirs. When I was researching scopes, these two had, by far, the best site picture and optics. You just have to think about looking through them and you can see clearly!

Virginians!! (And your State might be next!) Just putting this out, from a club I am affiliated with (but now retired to West Virginia but keenly watching this unfold):

On a somber and important note, I know that many of you answered that the 2nd Amendment is one of great importance to you. Following the November election and the turning of the state to Democratic control, we are facing proposed legislation being signed into law come January which severely impacts our ability to “keep and bear arms” within Virginia. Proposed legislation includes:

Legislation requiring background checks on all firearms sales and transactions. The bill mandates that any person selling, renting, trading, or transferring a firearm must first obtain the results of a background check before completing the transaction.
(Want to join your friends at the range? They will need to do a background check on you BEFORE lending you their firearm…and the reverse for them to give it back to you…)

Legislation banning dangerous weapons. This will include bans on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, bump stocks and silencers.
(Actual wording for “assault weapon” is SO broad it encompasses nearly every rifle in existence including those normally considered standard hunting or competition…. PLUS other legislation limiting max capacity of magazines to only 10 rounds…standard size pistol magazines typically hold 14-17 rounds)

Legislation to reinstate Virginia’s successful law allowing only one handgun purchase within a 30-day period.
Legislation requiring that lost and stolen firearms be reported to law enforcement within 24 hours.
Legislation creating an Extreme Risk Protective Order, allowing law enforcement and the courts to temporarily separate a person from firearms if the person exhibits dangerous behavior that presents an immediate threat to self or others.
Legislation prohibiting all individuals subject to final protective orders from possessing firearms. The bill expands Virginia law which currently prohibits individuals subject to final protective orders of family abuse from possessing firearms.
Legislation enhancing the punishment for allowing access to loaded, unsecured firearm by a child from a Class 3 Misdemeanor to a Class 6 felony. The bill also raises the age of the child from 14 to 18.
Legislation enabling localities to enact any firearms ordinances that are stricter than state law. This includes regulating firearms in municipal buildings, libraries and at permitted events.

These proposals are the beginning of the attempt to dismantle our 2nd Amendment rights, piece by piece and it is SO IMPORTANT that we speak up to protect our rights and our Constitution.

Please take a few minutes to check out VCDL.org. This is a non-partisan group who is actively working within Virginia to protect the 2nd. They have important information, listed county by county, regarding Board of Supervisors meetings, District Representative contact information, as well as day by day updates regarding proposed legislation when you sign up for their alerts and they have been at the forefront of the 2A Sanctuary County Movement which is now getting recognition in the local news.
