How is it Walmarts fault that Wisconcin subsidizes workers at such a high level? How many of those workers don"t have cable tv or all of their family have cell phones? It's all a matter of priorities. They have chosen to needlessly subsidize necessities so that those workers can have luxuries. As has been stated if they don't like the pay get a better job. You can't pay everyone a ceos' salary.

Did you read the all the articles? Doubt it. Because you would have noticed it also stated FEDERAL money, they used Wisconsin because it was the most recent.................I want Elio to be built too, but is it fair to ask Louisiana tax payers to subsidize our purchase, especially if revenue from Elio doesn't materialize. How about federal money? Should that be used to fund Elio? RacerTrust has an out if Elio fails or if it succeeds beyond anyone's expectations. That to me sounds like free market.

I'm all in but only at the $100 level. It's all I could afford at this moment but I hope to upgrade as I can. I'm under the impression that I won't get an actual reservation number at this level (only at the $1000 level), but since I'm "all in", does that mean I am guaranteed an Elio within the first year of production? I read somewhere that they were going to stop giving reservations once they reached their expected first year production number. Does that hold true for us $100 guys as well?

Sorry if I've got it all wrong, I wish there was a page that explained this well but I have yet to find it on the Elio motors site. I'm just rehashing what I've read on this forum and others. I'd love for someone to educate me.
One thing I just did was go back to the Reservation page and see if there was something I could do now to indicate my intention to upgrade when I can. Yes there is a way. I added the two possible upgrades to my Wish List ($100 to $500 and $500 to $1000) and that feels very good. I'm excited that I can take that one small step towards my goals. That and the money I am setting aside each month for the upgrades make it all real. I'm smiling, Big Smile, Happy Happy Smile. LOL :-) Z

Yes I did it's #3239 I was hoping for a lower number but that's OK
Congratulations! If it will make you feel any better I won't be getting my number until late this year or early next year. LOL It all depends on how quickly I can save to upgrade to first $500 and then $1K. Your number will be a whole lot lower than mine as will many others on this forum. That's OK though because it encourages me to keep plugging away and saving to get that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - an Elio Reservation Number! LOL :) Z

Has anyone done this? I got sideways on my reservations (late March, '14) and thought I was doing an all-in. Thought I did a $100 to $500 then a $1,000 all-in upgrade. Come to find out a couple orders were "want-ones"...?? Now I see I have three separate orders...!! Thought I was paying attention to the ordering process but I guess not. I e-mailed Elio a week ago asking them to make my 3 orders a $1,000 all-in. Haven't heard back yet.

Welcome to the Elio forum and hope they will be able to straighten it out for you. There are a great bunch of helpful people here on the forum and you will find useful information, rumors, facts, fictions, and fantasies. Also someone here will have the answer to almost any question you can possibly imagine (and even some you never thought possible). The forum will provide you with hours of entertainment to pass the time until our Elio's begin production
