In short, we haven't a clue to when or if the engine will be unveiled.
Why oh why are you letting Elio progress/discussion interfere with this thread- share your pet stories, only if they are still alive

Possibly, but these are awfully little snakes. About the thickness of a pencil and maybe a foot long. It would be more likely for the mice to eat the snakes!

I use those "Catchmaster" sticky traps (for mice) in my basement and garage. Change them every 2-3 months (when full) and often catch that size snake, along with crickets, spiders, scorpions, etc. The only thing I haven't caught is mice. :p I do have plenty of snakes around...not pets, tho. I don't like snakes but I do appreciate what they do, and leave them (the non-venomous) alone.:)

recently changed my signature- used to be-" I've got that sinking feeling" in response to the last few delays.
Guess I should update to reflect my change. I'm working on it- stay tuned.....
Is this jumping the sinking USS Elio for safety in the life boat a better better place to be or an indication that the ship has sunk? I thought we are still afloat and safe at least for the time being. Help! I'm still on the ship!

The ship, after we get on firm ground can easily be replicated, after all it is built with 80% off the shelf marine parts, further I saved the crew. Although settling in to lower expectations, we are still pulling in the same direction, and being captain I get to be the coxswain (SP?) sitting in the stern (not rowing)!! pull, pull lol

After a bit more sleuthing around the internet I determined that the engine photo was from January 28th when Northville High students were taking a tour of IAV facility. The man in both photos with the students is Bill Schmidt an IAV engineer. I recognized the student just in front of the the student with green jacket in the IAV Tweet is the same student standing next to the woman in red in the photo of the Elio engine on mount with dyno. Not that any of this means anything, but hey, it's a bone you're dog wont be interested in. :p
