I used to have a desk calendar and peel off daily 'toons, and EVERY day LMAO- I remember that he had also frogs.
BTW, I read where he did each animal(s) in series, frogs, snakes, deer etc. not random order.

The cats do watch the fish tank. I think they even have some fish they like to watch more than others.

I maybe wrong but betting if you have a fair number of snakes that might keep the mice in check.

Possibly, but these are awfully little snakes. About the thickness of a pencil and maybe a foot long. It would be more likely for the mice to eat the snakes!
