Perhaps too many auto rats on the ship are the reason it's sinking. A very odd announcement regarding the delayed engine start event for whatever the reason. Goofyone, I respect your optimism. The delay will no doubt be overshadowed by a successful rescheduled engine start event in the near future.

I have been talking a bit with some folks I know at Elio. The postponement is NOT repeat NOT a problem with the engine. It is NOT a problem with one of the financial types / investors. It IS very unfortunate for the bad impression it gives, but it is NOT caused by anything Elio has or has not done. External events have dictated the reschedule. So we can all keep our shirts on.

Just heard something weird on NPR this morning. The state of AZ is doing rule changes that state the dealer network requirements are for fuel powered vehicles only. So EV's like Tesla get an exception and can do direct sales from their website. AZ auto dealers are probably livid about that!
The weird thing is, in Paul's home state, I have no idea how this affects the cyclecar dealer network requirement. Since it doesn't affect motorcycles, remaining as NO requirement, presumably not cyclecars either.

In my experience dates like that are usually press photo dates that prepopulate when you put together a new page, nothing else.

Not in Ohio. Ohio includes motorcycles, autos -- everything but snowmobiles -- in the definition of "motor vehicle."
