Yep, I wrote my 1K 'All In' off the day I sent it in. Don't gamble more than you can afford to lose. When mine comes off the A line, I'll be there to pick it up, pay cash and ride it home. That autta be 'One Hell of a Ride', as this forum will be between now and then. I'm looking for a Mini-Mate Pop-up camper, like Z, to put behind it like . If anybody discovers the paint code for the 'Dreamcicle', let me know. My Mini-Mate will be ready to go.

Why would someone with your self proclaimed wisdom spend so much of your Valuable time playing on a forum you see no value in? Don't play the "I want to save you from yourselves" BS. You made your point (I guess??) What is your end game? Do you fear progress or change? Are you related to 3card Debbie? Or are you an unemployed doomsday critic with nothing better to do? Bottom line is, whattheef is an electric car fanatic. He's afraid that more Elios on the road would mean less people getting interested in electric cars which by the way costs way too much including the battery that needs to be replaced every 5 or so years! All credit to this fella, with all his "successful accomplishments", he could start his own forum and blabber all he wants against EM. Just not here!

Some of you ask questions, I provide the answers, you don't like those answers, it disturbs your idyllic vision,, I get it, it makes you uncomfortable, you are unable to debate the points made, or provide and value added discussion, so instead you play the predictable petty attack approach, typical, expected, and weak.

That said, I am not beholden to any one alternative vehicle technology, but I am interested in what altnernative vehicle makers can actually execute, and not just profess vaporware, which is what EM is, a proof of concept, a few handmade concepts shown and shipped, that's it. I won't say I told you so as indicated, I'm not interested in petty behavior, just letting you know from experience what you can expect, which is next to nothing, like it or not.

On the contrary, we're doing just fine, thank you! I don't know how many times before you get it that we all understand the risks, it's a gamble, etc. I for one is willing to wait it out and SO DO YOU because EM is the only one that will decide when it's over or not! there's no debate here, sorry, if you don't like what's presented to you, hey, feel free to move on. Again, be patient because if you believe enough, EM might introduce an electric version!

First let me say I'm all in, got the Tee shirt bought the hat.
And sence this thread seams to be about "will Elio make it". I was wondering how close Aptera was to "making it".

As I remember Aptera was very close, and that is what scares me. It can go bad very quickly. One week they were going to build it the next they were closing the doors.
I really hope EM can do it!, but if you don't study history you are doomed to repeat it.

Snipped: 150M is actually not that much of a stretch to acquire, for a product foreseen as being eventually rather pervasive, thus the red flag here already.

True normally, but I do believe the most recent delay was caused by the Caddo Parish folks entertaining Toyota's (?) possible bid to take over the former GM plant which would have put Elio's sublease in jeopardy. No harm no foul, & I'm sure plan "B" was available for relocation if necessary. Since that didn't happen plan "A" was once again viable & the funding process could resume, hence the delay. Hopefully that is the end of the delays & the 'testing schedule' for the fourth qtr. of 2015 will be met................we'll see.
