Knew a guy that used to say that.
He rode a Sporty with "shotguns"
One day on a poker run he was stuck on the right of a "Shovel" with shotguns.
The next leg he was on my right ...........An '86 FXR Evo with stock mufflers.
At the checkpoint he looked at me and said ....."Darn it was nice riding next to you".
Guess he figured out why people didn't like riding on his right

Seeing as the passenger side has no door I think it needs a chrome side pipe with an upswept tip that would clear the rear tire just like on a ... Motorcycle!

Yes on converter, bolted directly onto the exhaust manifold.

skip the long pipe, I want a chrome rectangle as wide as the rear tire and just above it as part of a cat-back exhaust

Fell off? More like knocked off. Apparently, it was a little low. The Production Elio will have the same ground clearance as a Mustang and the exhaust will be routed to avoid those raised asphalt areas.
