Exhaust Sound

Harleys, love to look at them, hate to hear them. A nice muffled rumble would be OK.

Not all Harleys are loud. Stock they are quiet. None of mine even with aftermarket headers and pipes are loud.

My car used to sound like this until a few months ago when it still had the tuned 850 cc four cylinder engine:



With it's three cylinder Suzuki G10 (work in progress), somehow I don't think it will have quite the same "classic" exhaust noise, but it will have a lot more power.

Please don't tell me that you took that ultra-low-mileage metro that you bought for almost nothing and stripped the motor out of it.
I'm gonna cry if you do.

HHH, you're right. I've read that in multiple places. The overall design philosophy of the Miata was to retain (and improve, if possible) all the good points of British roadsters, and eliminate the bad points.
