keep in mind that when it comes to meeting the specs, the huge pledges may well be perfectly valid .... that doesn't mean they will translate to actual stock buys ..... for most of us regular folks and it would seem logical to believe it would be true for the folks who made high dollar pledges as well, much will depend on the terms of the stock offer

They have locked the button, and that's that. We'll have to wait on news from EM to find out more. We're back into conjecture limbo mode until then.

Making their target 3 weeks and 3days (in three's? really?) is a coup anyway you look at it.

This is a disappointing outcome. It leaves a terribly bad taste in the mouth. Obviously, future campaigns are going to have to enforce the limit of money that can be "pledged". Likewise, verified contact information for every "investor" will be required prior to accepting a "pledge." Some assholes have to ruin things for the honest people .... every (87q34597843**&)6E982 time.

The folks at EM must be fit to be tied. What percentage of their "pledged" money might be real? Yes, 5,500 people aren't all going to be phonies... less than 1% are malicious trolls, I would guess. But the whole mechanism of recording your interest is going to have to be revised, thoroughly and quickly. The whole system is now deep suspect. What a heartbreak.

Of course, all these amounts could be genuine -- and I have sunshine flying out of my butt.

OK, Lets see the real money this time !

Lily May, I don't know if EM has access to your chart, but it could be very useful to them. It's obvious that things started getting derailed in clumps and clusters -- and that spells "fraudulent" to me. EM and StartEngine need to be aware of these data points -- I don't know if "pledges" are recorded by time, amount, and "pledger", but if not, this could be helpful in tracking down the frauds. It looks as if a couple of million of these pledges could be fake -- a big difference to EM's future.

just picking a number ... if $20 ends up being legitimate would that translate to the campaign being a success ? .... how about $15M or $22M .... in short where's the line ??
