Well, I am sorry to see this end this way. It was fun while it lasted. But I'm pretty sure that Elio can't follow up with wannabe investors until the SEC approves an actual solicitation, which will take several months. Then we will receive communications asking us to verify or alter our interest and actually buy the stock.

On the plus side, enough of this must be legitimate so that the SEC will be impressed and allow the true solicitation to take place.

Under the A+ rules those four investors would have had to have a net worth of almost $4Million / ea excluding their home. (Unless I misread the rule) Somehow, I'm not feeling this.

Well, there' probably more than 6 million millionaires in the US alone. Odds of some of them being Elio fans are good. Odds of some of the fans seeing an opportunity down the road to invest in Elio, and possibly increase their networth are good as well. I don't see it as far fetched at all.

The other thing that may change your thinking, look up those founders of StartEngine, their dedication to business for public good could indicate some influence over other like minded philanthropists. Of course in addition to Howard Marks and Paul Kessler, I'm including Ron Miller as well.
