releases like these reach huge numbers of people .... they help stimulate interest and rightly or wrongly give the impression that the fund raising is almost to its goal .... for some folks I can see how that can help create a "I better get in before its too late" mindset

I have personally "sold" about 6 Elios -- 4 just a high level of interest, 2 actual deposits -- excluding myself. A lot of people really want this to happen. Millions of others don't know or don't care -- but the heck with them!

Holy crap! It's now 6:13 PM edt.

In the last 30 minutes or so we have added 8 investors and 26,000 dollars -- now at 19,341,625

EDIT: 6:15, $19,356,875 and 5013 investors. Those last two investors kicked in $15,000. This thing is a freight train!

EDIT AGAIN: 6:17, UP $12,000 with just two new investors. This is getting serious. This is acting exactly like a bubble -- I wonder how many of these will turn out to be real when it comes time to fork over actual money. But for right now the ride is glorious!

It's now possible the whole concept is being taken more seriously with this performance. Self-fulfilling prophesy. Or everybody wants to join in on a win.

Since we got a count today at 4am (my time) by 9pm tonight I'll be curious to get a full day results. At the moment I'm expecting a full funding by Monday evening, but I'll know better at 9pm.

Just a heads up, at the end of this funding thing, I'm going to try and focus on other daily responsibilities ( probably fail ) pending the P5 completion, or a P6 test, either of those.

I know you'll all miss my noise! ( repeat: I'll probably fail to stay away )

Hopefully, not too much. Based on the difference between our group's average "investment" and that of the whole "investor" population, I'm guessing that perhaps 15% will bow out -- and hopefully not more than 20%. But it's still the all-time-record crowd funding response for ANYTHING that I know of.

It's kind of like watching a time-lapse of kudzu growing on a Georgia barn.
