20 weeks looks like Halloween to me.

If they actually started on June 12 when it was announced, and if you don't account for the 2 three day weekends and if there were no sick days, and if the plans were perfect.
That's why I've always said Thanksgiving.

I really wish that people would stop referring to 20 weeks as a schedule.
It isn't, and it never was.
Paul said that the P4 was built in about 20 weeks and that he thought that P5 could be built in less.
Does that sound like a schedule?

It sounds more like contracting with the Prototype Builder to hand build one P5 Elio in 20 weeks +/- using a high percentage of off the shelf parts that will allow EM to move on to the production target of 2016-17.

I see no reason they wouldn't have started the P5 build on June 12th as announced.

Lets hope they get the A+ money sooner than later, and get started on the E series before the P5 is expected to be done.

Either way, sounds like we have at least 45 days before anything significant happens other than maybe funding 'dharma'.

I received my test email with the same address (https). It was send at 3:25 in the morning. So, I suppose we are going to be notified in batches too about sending in our pledges. So much for being notified all at the same time.

Just for the record, June 12 was the day Elio made the P5 announcement. Or the day they first showed us the P5 CADs.

FYI that was on a Friday afternoon.
I've seen projects announced on a Friday, but I can't recall one that was started on a Friday, or for that matter one where the physical work commenced immediately after the announcement.

Once again, we are all trying to read too much into exact dates.

It took it nearly two days to get $250,000 and a 138%. It has really slowed down the last four - five days.. So, you might be right on the target, 150% by October first.
