Smitty, If production starts in the middle of 2016 the Elios will be rolling off at that time. PE stated that there will be 15,000 Elios the first three months. That is by September. But as LillyMayPatterson #1685 & #5648 (I'm going to refer to as Lilly for now on. Too long to write out. Ha!) we will know as it happens. There is enough obstacles in life. We don't need to put more that we do not know exist. We have no evidence that production will roll out in 2017. So press on. And as Lilly stated, hang in there.

The more I think about your message... I see an undertone that implies that you feel there will be a six month delay after initial production announcement/start. I know you are involved in the forums. So you are aware of the announcements but I never heard of a six month delay from initial production. I guess you are thinking there is the three months to hire and three months before selling the initial 15,000 Elios. If this happens I would agree to the 2017 date.

I know that PE stated they will begin hiring about three months prior to production (Elios rolling off). I know that PE stated production will start in mid 2016. So... we really need to keep an eye on the hiring. When that starts it will be about three months before the first Elios are produced. Again, based on the projections the hiring will have to be by March when the hiring begins or finishes to hit the mid year initial production time.
