I think I followed your lead on the SRK. As for the Model 3, I reserved about an hour before the unveiling.
Your low reserve number will guarantee early delivery on your Model 3! I would have reserved early had I known the high volume of reservations. That shocked Musk! I am closer to the 200K number.

It is now the 8th of July. I wonder when they will post photos of the event at their site?
Corbin Motors Sparrow 2.

I am still hoping they make the roadster.

Looks like a shoe.
Yes, a high performance electric commuter shoe. I like the styling in the sense that it looks like an enclosed Trike, designed and engineered by a Motorcycle rider and enthusiast. It makes me smile and would turn heads and inspire friendly waves during rides. Now if I could only get in and out of the Sparrow 2 and drive it in comfort, I may buy one.

The design is so ... disjointed. It's a sports car front end, reminiscent of a Corvette, married to something straight out of Dr. Seuss. Like the designer couldn't figure out what he wanted to do, so he did half of each. And those dimples... Ugg. No way in hell they add enough in aerodynamics to make it worth the abominable look.

This may turn heads, but not in a good way.

No thanks.

The same could be said about the Elio. I happen to like them both. Many people wouldn't like either. I happen to appreciate the variety of options when it come to three wheel designs. Go three wheels, buy what you like like what you buy. No reason to slam other choices. The original sparrow was a proven head turner in a good way with thousands of pre-orders and continues to have a fan base. Others are merely concepts, waiting on proof of concept and a production model that hopes to turn heads in a positve way someday.

I have respect for Mike Corbin in that he built his dream three wheeler.
