Perhaps if the Sparrow 2 EV Commuter proves successful, Corbin will offer a high performance sports Trike model down the road..............EM may do the same if the Elio concept sells to the masses. The key is to hope the driving public adopts the go three wheels option.

Yep. I think Elio is shooting for the next Bug and not the next Mercedes S Class.

Yep, that's what all the three wheeler concepts are shooting for.......an affordable, fun, urban or suburban commuter........The next Bugs: Elio, SRK, i-Road, Solo, or Sparrow 2. Any of the 5 would work for me........or a collection of all after waiting the past 10 years.

I like the Sparrow 2's 'Retro Styling' but I'm old too. Style is very personal.

$15K on the Solo EV is fairly reasonable............depending on what it turns out to be in terms of performance, features, and build quality.

It's $15K? I thought it was $19K... maybe I didn't convert from Canadian. Still, from what I have seen from the performance numbers, it looks like a top speed of 80 MPH, range of 100 miles, 0-60 time of 8 seconds, 8.6KWH battery, and as said before, only seats one.

It's does have an LCD digital instrument cluster though, so it gets a nod for that.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Sparrow 2's monocoque chassis was a carbon fiber safety cell.

I had reservations on the Lit Motors C-1, the Elio, and the SRK all refunded. After the Gen 8 SRK I did it again and put down a simple $100 refundable because it looks like a comfortable ride. The Solo and Sparrow 2 look far too low for an old geezer with back issues...............so I would need a test drive to insure sitting comfort and easy entry/exit before considering a purchase. I can wait until production starts..........it's only been 10 years.........what's another year or two.
