When will we get the real story???? Ive been kissed by the best. I've been in for quit some time in the first 2500 customers again When will we get the real story????

Ok I did. Here's a new We The People White House Petition to support Elio Motor's ATVM loan application.

I signed it earlier , I think about 6 or 7, BUT it said we only need ( forgot the number- CRAFT) but way too large to have it approved to be sent forward- it's a dead end

Not true, the next step is 150 to be listed for pubishing. Then the next is that higher number. But the process involves running higher and higher on their 'publish list' while numbers build.

When Elio Motors get the $185 million loan from the Department of Energy, the sale of surplus equipment from the Shreveport facility and several private financing options. As soon as one of these options comes through, Elio Motors will be able to communicate a more specific date for the vehicle launch, which is targeted for the first half of 2016. You should read some of the ElioMotors.com blog and you will learn more about it. However the real answer you are looking for you will have to do some research yourself and get more understand. I just spent ten minutes cruising through Corporate Fuels Securities staff of partners and VP's and came away feeling that these guys have banking and M&A experience but zero IPO expertise. Not to say that they could not in turn partner with someone to manage an IPO, but Elio's engagement of them suggests anything, it suggests an eye towards being acquired. I think angels are out or they would have had them already, and the VC guys are likely to look for better returns elsewhere unless ATVM fails.

Elio Motors is not working on an IPO but instead what they are doing is a 'private placement' or private stock offering. In some ways they are similar, as they both involve selling equity positions in the company for cash, however the private placement is much less expensive and much less regulated as it is mostly a matter of whatever can be negotiated between the parties.

A private placement has been a part of EM's funding strategy all along and this is not even EM's first attempt at a private placement. If you search the forum you will find it mentioned up to a year ago however the last one collapsed due to the protracted problems with securing the Shreveport plant. If you read what EM says about how long this current private placement has been in the works you will find this process has actually been under way for months now. EM has already told us that Corporate Fuels did 90 days of due diligence and preparation before offering the placement publicly this month and I am sure there was a period of time for EM to decide on Corporate Fuels and negotiate with them before that.

If i were EM I'd just keep quiet and start letting deeds like engine and P5 production start appearing as funds become available.
