Look, let's say you got 10,000 reservation holders to sign the petition. What would you expect to happen? Do you think Paul Elio would say "Holy shit, they really want me to build some of these things after all. I guess I better start up the line this afternoon!"

The "petition" is for starting a class action lawsuit, not getting to production.

I don't see how a class action lawsuit will do anything. We all signed contracts knowing full well we may not ever get an Elio or our money back unless you opted for the refundable reservation.
