A Message To The Elio Team

I know but the question still remains for Team Elio! WTH happened to the visually more appealing dash and interior design overall in post #61?

I can live with the solution if Elio keeps its commitment to the most cost effective products. If the costs dictates that it be the Elgin dash so be it but it certainly would not be my choice

What happened to this dash? Styling matches the aerodynamics of the body style. The boxy styled Elgin dash looks like it should be installed in a pickup truck not the production Elio. IMHOView attachment 677

What a terrible dash. Speedometer only has increments in 5 mph, appears tach is the same. The only thing I like is the gear and mileage (km in the picture) indicators

I am seeing 10 mph increments on the speedometer, if I am not mistaken. It would make more sense to me if it was in 5mph increments, but it isn't. ... Heck. Put it in 5mph increments and change the color to anything but white and I might like this dash. Unfortunately, white will be nigh unto impossible to read in the bright summer sun.

Highway ?

Where is the 25 mph mark so I don't get pulled over for just cause?
Is there a digital read out in the middle?

I can't say it's wonderful but I also can't say I don't like it. Until I see it in person I don't feel qualified to judge. I'll let you know when I get my Elio next year. :-) Z
